Race to 270: Barack Obama
The electoral votes have started to roll in.
I'll do my best to keep you all updated throughout the night as we get more information and as the polls close across the US.
SO FAR, remember you need 270 Electoral Votes to win!

And with this, 232 years after the signing of the Declaration of Independence, an African American has finally become the President of the United States of America. The 44th President will be Barack Obama, this is a historic moment for all of us, and the single most important and influential election of all of our generations. We need to stand proud that we have been able to overcome to major hurdles - race and age, and tonight, we have a new President. McCain ran a great campaign and I commend him on his speech this evening. I was slightly disappointed in the supporters of the McCain Campaign booing during McCain's speech, however it was a tough race.
Remember - tonight we are either for McCain or Obama - Tomorrow we are all Americans. We're all together in this. Let's ring in a new era!

Re: Race to 270: Barack Obama
Loving every minute of this night. Can't wait to hear what Obama has to say. I respect both parties, and I love to be an American.
Re: Race to 270: Barack Obama
This is the first time in a long time that I can truly say that I'm proud to be an American, and have been brought to tears multiple times this evening.

Re: Race to 270: Barack Obama
There was something similar to a riot at Baylor University about Obama... crazy how some of the world is still three steps behind the rest.
