What you got going in and what car?
Re: krys[USAF]
In now: Ken DNX8120, boston sl-80's in the doors
Have and pending install: Alphine PDX4.150 for the doors, PDX-1.1000 for the sub
Soon: Tsunami Cap (20 or 40, whatever I can get a deal on, 1/2 the reason I want this particular one is it has 1/0ga in and three 4ga out, no blocks and cleaner install), Boston SPG555PS sub, wire, breaker, battery terminal and a big ANL fuse.
At some point we'll have the San Diego people together and you can check it out when I'm done. In a new Explorer.

Re: krys[USAF]
PDX are great amps, too bad they use proprietary connections. Be careful with heat though. Had a friend who had the same 2 stacked and both burnt themselves up. Luckily Alpine provided replacements.
My set up when I get a new car, probably the 2009 Honda Fit.
Head: Alpine 9835, 9855, or 9886 (I like the 9835,55 for the 24 Bit DAC, but this also is dependent if I can actually install a radio in the Fit)
Factory Integration: JL Clean Sweep (just in case the radio is a pain to remove and rewire)
Speakers: Boston Pro (Would love to use SPZ, the crossover is insane)
Subwoofer: 2x Boston G5 10"
Amps: 1000/1 JL Slasher V2, 450/4 JL Slasher V2 (Might town down to 500/1 if the 1000/1 pushes too much)
Plan to use a BATTCAP instead of a regular cap, due to the Fit's lower amperage alternator. Luckily the battcap wont require a battery isolator to independently recharge, instead it can be tied in just like a cap. No way will I ever go lower than 1/0 AWG for primary. Need as much power as possible. Might also do the "Big 3" to ground the alternator and engine better, so I'm not dimming.

Update!
Well since I've been having to lean up, I've lost roughly 20 lbs and only need 10 more to go. Need to take updating pictures so you can see me as a stick x.x Hopefully I can get myself ready for boot in the next month so I can go during winter. Otherwise Texas is gonna suck any other time of the year.
