Well if you finish up ROTC, you'll be auto promoted to either PFC out of boot camp or Lance corporal. Keep it up. the majority of my friends are in the marines, and yes it can be hard, it can turn you into a different person, but it's the best discipline, and you get the most respect in my

This is very True, Marines are the Strictest branch, and discipline is necessary, and btw DotA, I still didn't get my rank yet, i'm suppose to get it on Thursday and i'm Staff Sergeant, because I been taking ROTC for 4 years. Boot Camp is tough i'll tell you that much lol been going there for past 3 years and this year its on december, my friend called a girl officer a " Sir " because we use to saying that alot and she slapped the crap outta his face lol.

I've been to pendelton quite a few times. When I was younger, I went there every weekend to check it out, and also to work out. I was planning on joining the military for a very long time, and made friends with the staff sergeant. I've done the obstacle course more times than I can remember. Also did MT. Mother F***** quite a few times. Full gear in 90 degree weather is not fun. But you do learn proper respect for everybody around, and you appreciate things a lot more. Keep up the good work. The Marines will turn you into a man :)
