Well, I think it's time to share a little with you guys
I was studying Physics at the state university (Universidad Autonoma de Baja California or UABC) last year but for some reasons I had to leave there.
This year I applied to the same university but different campus. The other one was in Ensenada, Mexico. This one is in Tijuana and wanting to keep studying physics, I chose Aerospace engineering...
I had to start all over again because the career program was different and couldn't skip the courses I had already taken....hopefully I'll keep studying until I get a Science Doctorate in something related to rocket propulsion lml, aaaand maybe someday I'll go back and finish my career in physics too
so yeah, that's pretty much how my educational life is right now, at first semester again xD

Re: Aerospace Engineering !
Sucks that they set you back, but you're a smart, and endearing guy and I'm sure you'll be going places once you get the status quo taken care of. Good luck and if you ever need any help, I'm not a rocket scientist but I'm here.

I totally feel you man. I switched majors too from engineering to econ at UCSD and had to start all over, my senior year. LOL
I'm glad that you have finally found your true passion and direction!
Good things come to those who wait
