The floor in the center of the map, directly in the center under the hole (notice the sunlight is NOT shining straight down, so not in the lit area) you can use your USE key on the floor.

Is the orange symbol also a hint?

Damn, I wasted a good 10 minutes staring at that symbol to see if there is a pattern within it. My vision was blurry for a while after. Is the buy zone when you drop down the circle a hint?
