-[.40 Cal ]- Games

Hi all. I first joined -[.40 cal]- before there was a -[.40 cal]-, back in 2006 or 2007. Back then it was just -=[on 24]=-, with five servers and a scrim server. But they were always full, and so -[.40 cal]- was formed to handle all the people that wanted to play a good, clean, cheater-free game. I think I was one of the first five or ten to register on the old forum, too. I used to play as haikus.

But things happen, electronics die, and my Dell stopped working. I bought a Mac. Macs didn't used to run CS, so I was out of luck for a good long time. Not to mention I went to school and got a PhD. But I still enjoy the game, and now that Steam runs on Macs, I've started playing again. I naturally gravitated toward the .40 cal and on 24 servers because they're almost always full and the people are respectful. I'd like to help out.

@Sammy: I would. I haven't been using the new name for very long. The reason I didn't go back to haikus is that nobody ever pronounced it correctly! (They called me "HEY-cuss".) I picked this one because in Aristotle, the unmoved mover is the one who set all other things in motion -- God. So it's a subtle way of calling myself God.
