rip are you the one who's responsible for the .40 cal servers? If so, do you have any help or do you just do this on your own time?

I've been playing on .40 cal servers since like 2009 or something and I have to say I always wondered who was keeping the CS 1.6 dream alive. Gun game is by far my favorite and I'm not only extremely loyal to the .40 cal brand but also immensely grateful to whoever keeps the whole show up and running.

I'm no good with code but like Lost said, I'd also do anything I could to help keep things going. This server has been a huge part of my life for pretty much the last decade. I'd be super bummed if it wasn't here anymore. There's a lot of veteran players on here too that I've gun gamed with for almost that same amount of time. Pretty sure .40 cal is one of the last remaining active gun game communities. We must preserve this treasure!

Can the bots be easier because they are better than me. Also, can we keep them until the round ends even if people join because the more players the more fun it is.

I've been around 40 cal a long time. I was an admin prior to 2008 when the board was reset. Several years ago I offered to help Sammy with the server because I thought I could do it better. I think I did a good job, but won't speak for Sammy. I've been running them one way or the other for the past few years.

Last year I took over both the site and the servers to keep them going. Technically I unilaterally keep the thing running...but admins and regulars make it work.

MSTGMAN helps with the server costs. I also host the website on resources I already had.

Things you can do to help:

• Be on the server and site(chat) to start and keep games running.
  Recognize and acknowledge regular players, people like to be remembered in game and in life, lol.
  You are always welcome to boost the servers (Search forums on it, I occasionally boost)
  I wouldn't turn down $ support, but don't like asking for monies.
