Motherboard is fried

Post by RNGesus » Sat Apr 04, 2015 10:13 am

So now I am boned for a few weeks until I get the money for a new one. Hope the surge 9f energy didn't fry anything else when the arc happened. . So I am posting this from my Galaxy S5 and hoping Newegg will have a good deal for a mob I can take advantage of. .

Life is crap, off to PS3 for gaming I guess

It's mostly my fault messing with the stable voltages as I was trying to achieve a higher over clock on my FSB and RAM to match the CPU OC I did a few months back

Should be up and running within a month just suckw I am on a over clock mission so I need to replace it with a solid part no cheapies or I would be back sooner

Yeah, I did that once. I had a super-OC'd MOBO and liquid cooled my CPU and BOTH GPU's in SLI......until I developed a leak and shut off all the alarms and by-passed all the heat warnings. The MOBO melted down, taking out the GPU's as well. No more liquid cooled for me. I went back to Intel and run fairly stock now. That was costly.
